The Panoramahof is a
stud farm and schooling center. The farm has a stunning
view of the nearby area e.g. Teichalm, Passailer Becken
and Weizklamm and is located above 900 m sea level.
The farm is set in about 45 acres of open land, one paye
track of 250 m, an oval track, 2 dressage tracks and one round pen. Mares and
geldings are kept in seperate open plan stables.
In the summer the horses can be found in the pastures,
whilst they are only outside for a few hours in the
winter. Stallions and horses in schooling are kept in single- and douple boxes.
Colts and fillies grow up in
nearby farms and are kept in herds. Also the Saddlebreds
are kept the same way.
Our main concern in breeding horses is for easy riding
and for the horses to be friendly and to carry themselves well. They should
have a good rhythm, tölt evenly from the start of their
schooling. It is not important whether a horse is
five- or four-gaited. It´s of greater importance that
the horse is easy to ride and could also be used for
competitions.
We are not a riding
school but solely for breaking in and schooling. We
prepare and accompany the horse and rider right through
to competition levels or assessments. We also offer
instructions for single or group lessons depending on
the
individual´s needs
at our farm or at your home.
At our farm, we continually offer many good horses from well trained family horses
to promising world
champions. Our good contacts in Iceland and on the
continent enable us to find the right horse for you.
