Prize champion of the World Championship 2003 of the 6 year old stallions.

Goður-Greifi  is a demonstrative, remarkable five-gaited stallion with a  special charisma. He impresses particularly with his even and excellent gaits. These gaits are clearly seperated with high, wide movements  - in each speed. He is comfortable and enjoyable to ride.

He has an even 4-beat-rhythm  and his tölt is supple and  high up to a fast speed. The Trot is distinctive with high movements and a good 2-beat-rhythm an suspension. Most of the time his walk is too hasty but he can have moves with long strides when he is relaxed. The canter is well off the forehand yet streches out in nice round, powerful movements with  fast speed. Goður-Greifi  has a racing speed in pace with  wide movements.  In his one-time race of 250m  he reached  23,2 sec. He was able to gain several  victories and good placements in the pace test at different tournaments.

The temperament ist energetic with a self-confident character. He is well on the bit and easy to regulate. He is very willing and ready to extend his affords.

Goður-Greifi  is of correct conformation. His legs (quality) are  exellent. He has strong tendons and  joints.

Goður-Greifi´s offsprings show already as foals impressive gaits and it seems that they are four-gaited. Probably it is like Goður-Greifi  himself. His pace estimation was expected  on  strenghs of his pedigree indeed, but wasn´t appearant until a couple of times being ridden. When running free one would believe he is four-gaited.

Goður-Greifi´s first tested offspring is Smjörvi fra Stóra-Hofi. Smjörvi obtained as a five year old at his first assessment a first class certification.
